Oh yea, when I get a bad cold. My sense of taste and smell usually come back in about 3 days.

I have. One Christmas I couldn't taste my favorite chocolates that I got. I guess you can't taste because of the lack of air in your nose.

Absolutely. I have had bad head colds and couldn't taste or enjoy the aroma of my fav dishes. It wasn't until I cleared up the congestion before I got those taste buds back to the optimal performance. It comes back, don't worry
