Hav u ever lost a loved one?!

Question: just curious

Answers: just curious

Yes I have. Seems the older you get the more loved ones you lose. I've lost my Mom and Dad...Grandparents...Some aunts and uncles and cousins...A husband and both in-laws...Also some friends along the way. It's a very sad thing to lose those closest to you. They will always be just a thought away. Our memories are what keeps them close to us. I'm very thankful for the time I was given with each and every one of them. There is a saying "It is much better to have love and lost, than to not have loved at all". This is oh so very true. I also strongly believe that each person that comes into your life is meant to be there, to teach us something, lessons if you will, life lessons. The hardest part of losing a loved one is to have to say goodbye to their bodies, knowing we will never see them or hold them close to us again. But I wouldn't trade a second of that time spent with them, not a second...If there is one very special lesson I have learned it is this: Life is very short no matter how long you live and it is very uncertain. ..Cherish the ones you have now, tell them and show them each and every single day how much they mean to you. This is one lesson I practice myself.

yep ive lost 2 of my 3 grandparents and a cousin that i was very close to. not to mention lots of other relatives that i wasnt all that close to but did care about

Yes, my Dad.

YES....

Yes, I did. One of my very, very, very best friends died of a heart attack at the age of 32. It was a total shock and absolutely devastating. Be sure to tell those close to you how much you love them because you never know what the next day will bring.

yes my aunt died a little over a month ago.. it's sad to say that because she was accidentally shot. but she's in a better place now because we think her cancer was back.

lost my girlfriend in a tragic car wreck last year. still getting over it

I lost 7 close relatives within 9 years and it made me feel so alone. But I did get over it. It takes time of course.

Unfortunately yes. I lost my Dad when I was 9, my uncle when I was 12, my Grandpa when I was 14 and my great aunt when I was 21.(I'm 23 now) I have also lost my mother...she is not dead but...for circumstances beyond my control she is not a part of my life and hasn't been for a while. Shortly after my Dad passed away things started going downhill...

yeah

my dad, my elder brother.
my father it has been about 11 years. the month that my little brother was born that same month he got killed. I remember him coming from his business trip home. and my small brother and me were running toward him and yelling that "mom killed the sheep". He came home and probably stayed only for one week or less. He gave the newborn baby his name and left. That was the last time I saw his him. About one month later we found out that he had been killed. The most tragic time of my life. At first i did not believed. I did not know what had happened because i was only 6 or seven years old. then after a week i start realizing that he will not come. I was sitting in a corner of the room and start crying until i suffocate. Before he left he Promised me that when he comes he will take his me to a country with good doctors so they could fix my ear. That time I was half deaf too. We were living in Afghanistan and during 94,95,96,97 there was a civil war going on in Afghanistan too.
