My friends arm?!


Question: my friends expierincing some bad pain by the sounds of it and she wont go for an x-ray, what can she do to get rid of the pain so it stops her being upset. what happend was she fell out of her bed onto her arm she had broke before. she says it hurts realy bad when she touches it and she has a big bruise that has spreded around her arm were she hurt it. to me it sounds like she has fractured it because it sounds the same as my knuckle ive just done, but i wanna here what you guys think what may of happend and how she can get rid of the pain. she wont take a painkiller either, she says pills scare her.

Please have her get medical attention. If the arm was already broken there's a much stronger chance of breaking it again, getting a hairline fracture or worse, she could have developed a clot. You can read up on the clotting (DVT's) and check the symptoms, if she thinks she has a clot - waste no time in getting emergency medical help please!

Honey, I think she needs to call her mom and dad. She may have hurt it real bad and they need to get her to the hospital for X-rays. In the mean time she can put a ice-pack on it for the swelling. I wish y'all luck.
