Should I go see my school nurse?!

Question: Last Thursday I was wearing flip flops and there was this puddle of water in the middle of the hall that I didn't see and I slipped and twisted my ankle to the side. I never went to see anyone and I have just been putting up with it. The problem is that yesterday I was in gym class and during gym and after my ankle started to hurt ALOT!
It felt like it does after you sprain it
Problem is it's not swollen it just hurts.
It is tender on the inside not the outside
It hurts alot when any pressure is applied(as I press on it)
I think I should see the school nurse but I'm not sure because I can walk/run but it hurts. If she will think I'm actually injured.
what would she do?

You have lightly sprained your ankle. Use RICE... rest, ice, compression and elevation. Your ankle will likely discolor as the blood pools to the lowest segment. Compression wraps and ace bandages can hold down the swelling. NSAIDS can help with the pain. After a couple of days you can put some weight on it. Do the alphabet with your foot to move it thru the range of motion. If you don't improve consistently, then see your doctor. you need crutches, a bandage, ice and rest.
GET WELL SOON!!!
ps. she will give you a note for gym, but the crutches you will most likly need to get yourself...
but she will bandage it and depending on the school, she might give you pain killers. at my scholl they dont which sucks, but you may be luckier...
