Snoring in dorm rooms?!

Question: Hi, I'm planning on traveling around Asia soon and would like to stick to a fairly tight budget. This would necessarily involve sleeping in dorm style accomodation. My problem is I've been told I'm a terrible snorer (like really bad!). I'm very self conscious of this and I would hate to upset fellow travelers. Does anyone have any reccomendations?

Take breathe right strips with you on this trip. You can purchase these at most discount drug or chain stores (such as target or walmart). They help my husband who is a heavy (bulldozer type) snorer. Otherwise sleep with your head elevated (this helps some people). When you get back to the states however, go get this checked out as snoring that badly is sometimes indicative of a condition called 'sleep apnea'. Good luck and have a safe trip!

EAT LESS.EXERCISE.SAY BYE TO SNORING

Bad snoring is an indication of some sort of problem, you need to get a sleep study done to check for sleep apnea. Then you could travel with a small CPAP machine and save all your fellow roomies the anguish of listening to you snore. I've recently got a CPAP and I'm sleeping better and NO snoring.
