I'm still sore...?!


Question: I last worked out Sunday morning and it's tuesday evening and I'm still sore. The last time I worked out before that was maybe 4 months before.... Everything else healed up fine except for my chest. I did four sets of heavy reps.... how long will the soreness of my chest last?

oh boy, well get ready, don't know if you have ever heard of "third day pain" but it's true, on the third day you will be even worse! Muscles can stay sore from 3-7 days depends on how often you work out...if you don't work out but ever four months, get ready because you will have this problem probably every time. But if you get on a regular schedule and workout maybe 2 a week, your body would get used to it and you will see quicker results too AND you wouldn't have to work at it so hard or long!

It could last a week or two, try to get a massage or something.
