What exercises will help my lumbar curve?!

Question: I know a couple...dedlifts and back extenders. Also, because I have bad lumbar curve in my back should I keep on doing situps. I'm not fat, it's the poor posture in my back, because of pelvic tilt. My abdomen sags. I have nothing but skin on my stomach but due to the lumbar curve I have in my back I have a stomach bulge. Which is not good anyway for a flatter stomach or for the fact that it can cause future back problems because of poor posture. Help me out.

the best excersice for your back is actually keep it straight, muscle tension is needed to keep the back (and ultimately the whole body) in its posture, so sit straight, walk straight etc and that will do,

First we all have a curve in our spine. The spine was designed that way. Poor Posture, walking with haunched shoulders, head poking forward and pelvis tilted will cause untold problems. If you 'really' want to help yourself, then look for a Pilate's Instructor of PT take a Beginners Course of Pilate's. That way you will learn about posture, gain core strength [tummy flat] and elongate your body.

Always remember you can do 50 sit-ups in fifteen seconds, but unless you isolate the muscles, you will not benefit. Pilate's gets you to isolate muscle groups, engage them and then two sit ups will have a profound affect. Best of Luck
