Puffy Eyes are most commonly caused by lack of sleep, but in addition, ageing, heredity, fatigue, allergies (like eczema and asthma), sun exposure and stress can darken the pigment around the eyes as well. Many studies have shown that smoking or drinking too much alcohol, coffee, soda and other highly-caffeinated beverages will only worsen the condition.

Eye creams are the most popular cosmetic used to reduce dark circles. They provide moisturize and nutrients to the delicate skin around eyes. Because this skin is so thin it absorbs eye creams rapidly, stimulating blood circulation underneath the skin's surface. You may be tempted to experiment with different products until you find one that works. But this approach may be expensive. More importantly, not all products contain the quality and quantity of necessary ingredients to positively effects on dark eye circles. That's why you'll need to do a little bit of research to find the best, most potent brand for your needs.

ps: I went through this 2 years ago, and started using creams, and it does really work. Good Luck

To look fresher put ice cubes or an ice pack across your eyes for 5 minutes. This will get the puffiness down.

It could be caused by a number of things. Undetected allergies, a sinus infection, etc. Please make an appt. with your doctor to get a correct diagnosis so if medication is necessary you will be able to get a prescription.

Hemorrhoid cream under the eyes before bed every night will shrink any swelling. I used to laugh at people for doing this and it really does work.

drink juices .... eat fruits .... and walk
