Question: I got stung by a wasp yesterday on my arm. Today it is red and swollen and my arm feels numb. Anything I can do to help the swelling and ease the pain. Should my arm feel numb?

That is an allergic reaction. I am allergic to them also. Take Benedryl (that's the shot they would give you at the hospital). It may take up to a week to get better depending on how red and swollen it is. Also use ice pack to reduce the swelling., 20 minutes of every hour for 24 hours. Tylenol will help the pain. Your arm is numb because it is swollen, the numbness will go away when the swelling goes down.

You might be having a very small allergic reaction.
I would take Benadryll for now and then go to the doctor.
You yourself can check the spot where you were stung for the stinger which might still be stuck and be causing an irritation to your skin.
You may be allergic to wasp stings. Your reaction to the next sting will be much worse. See a doctor as you may need to carry an epi pen. For now, you will need to take something to reduce the swelling, such as prednisone
try putting some lemon juice on a folded up paper towel on it i saw a lady where i work put some on her arm after being stung but it is all up to u so hope it will help
