Lumbar fusion disc surgery?!

Question: I am contemplating having two lumbar discs replaced with fusion surgery. If you have had this or know someone who has, would give me your opinion. Is this somehting I should do, or should I think twice?

Think long and hard because you will still be in pain after the procedure. The success rate for pain relief is not good. Best of Luck
