looks like an ingrown toenail... if the nail breaks it can grow to the side into the skin... had it happen to me once after I hit my foot on the sides of my door
Looks like its infected!! That yellow stuff around the nail is likely pus. It could be from a hangnail or some kind of injury. She should see a doctor (or podiatrist) before it spreads, she probably needs antibotics to clear the infection.

That looks to me like an infection. I see yellowish-whitish pus near the nail and red inflammation next to it. She should go to a doctor and have it drained and get some antibiotic cream for it.
She has an ingrown toenail that is infected. She should soak it in the hottest water she can to try and get rid of the infection & use an antibiotic cream on it & cover it with a bandaid.
If it gets any worse she should see a doctor as soon as possible.
Yep, it's an ingrown toe nail.
It is just like a hang nail when you cut your nail too short. It is just growing back. I had the same thing. The blister will be A okay to like tear off in about a weak. Good luck..
