Boost my immune system please!! Im always getting sick and take ages to get bett!


Question: Im a working mum and seem to catch everything my kids get. We all pass it on to eachother, im having too much time off of work because of this. Is there something i can take besides eating healthy vegtables?

The way to help fight infection is to always ensure that you wash your hands properly, before meals toilet, blowing nose etc. Studies have shown that this is the most effective way in reducing disease or contracting a disease. This will help with germs being contracted.
Try keeping your house well ventilated, this will help with airborne germs that are lingering around. They say in winter a house should be kept between 20-25 degrees Celsius I think from memory. Making sure your house also has natural light etc. Always make sure your toilets, benches sinks, bathrooms, floors are always cleaned regularly. Not just with disinfectant hot soapy water to clean with first and then disinfectant if you wish to use it. Always ensuring that it is thoroughly dry too.
Regular exercise will help with boosting immune system, good nights sleep, veggies and fruit as well as an healthy diet. You could try multi vitamins to help you. However if you ensure proper cleaning practises are put in place then this should help with cross infections.

I know you dont want to hear this, but I think a healthy diet and regular exercise is exactly what you need.

Get a check up with your Dr just to make sure there are no underlying causes making your immune system down.

Id also recommend a good multi vitamin, just to be safe if you aren't eating what you should be :)
