i would probably say that it is your weight because i am 5. 10 and 220 pound and i have had to have knee surgury twice because my weight made my knee injure twice. so my advice to you is to try losing some weight because i would hate to see the same thing happen to u as it did to me

Mabye you could ask your parents or a doctor. It could be because of your weight, but you never know

yeah its because of your weight... run run run!!

Most likely. Go to your doctor and tell her your symptoms.

It could be. It's normal for bones to become stressed out under all the weight.

Talk to your doctor.

It could be, and if you continue to be large into adulthood, it will effect many other parts of your body as you age as well. Back - hips-ect.

184 pounds!!! thats much , get urself reuced and Knee problems are commmon now a days, id u are 35+ then it may be a signal of thyroid.

It could be from weight but it could also be something wrong with your knee. I would go to the doctor and have this checked out.

wow u answered your own question..yes ur weight could be one factor of you knee pain but there could be other factors too. Try to looses a little weight and bend and straighten your knee to loosen the muscles..try iron tablets to strengthens the bones..milk for calcium

I am 23, 5'6 and weigh 338 pounds and I don't even have knee pain. I'm not kidding.

It may or may not be the cause, but the extra weight definitely doesn't help. Cut out soda and junky foods, eat healthier, and get active. Talk to your mom, your school nurse, or your doctor about what you can do to trim down in a healthy way. Don't let your knee pain stop you or become an excuse. Go to the doctor if your knee gets worse or doesn't get better soon. Good luck!

its not about the weight its because u sit down on your knees to mush or laying down watching t.v..Go accessorize go out and play

It is possible but not definite. Have it checked by a doctor because it could be something other that weight.

Could be. I have a dear friend who is quite large. She's had 3 knee surgeries. Her weight was putting stress on her knee joints. There are other things that may be causing your knees to hurt.I am only telling you what I learned watching my friend suffer. She can walk better now. If you are willing(it's hard,I know,I really do understand)to do things to get some of your weight down you might lessen your pain. They say walking is good exercise. How can a person walk if they're in pain?!
Simple leg lifts while sitting down is a start. Doing gentle squats are good ,also. Be good to yourself, love yourself, take care of your body,it's the only one you'll get in this lifetime.Hope this helps some!

Possible water on your knee, or the start of arthritis, or fibrmyaliga .
Weight does play a key roll but not all the roll in this situation.

Yes it is. Your BMI is very very high. I am concerned about your health. I feel you should seek medical attention.

Bodies were'nt built to carry alot of weight around, id say it was pressure on your joints possibly because of your weight.

it could be but my friend and me have both have knee problams and we arent obese.
