Tonsillectomy: Age 27 On day 4 of recovery..........?!
Question: I'm so agravated right now. I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't move....... I just lay in bed all day. I'm so hungry but all I can eat is jello and popcicles. When does the actuall healling begin? My throat looks so nasty! Is there hope in sight for me?

There is hope. It actually is healing under all of that funkiness. It's always darkest just before the dawn.
Post-surgical depression is very common on day 3-4. It will get better. Be good to yourself.
My twin sister just had her tonsillectomy 9 days ago. She felt like you do at first and I guess about two days ago she started to feel a little better now she is eating a little. So I hate to say this because I know a week will seem like forever with being in pain and being hungry but give it another week. Good luck
