Jellyfish?!
Question: My 12 year old daughter was stung by a jellyfish today at the beach. The swelling and stuff in her leg has gone down a lot but she is complaining of chest pain really bad. Take her to the ER?

From the looks of it, it will not be fatal. If she got stung by the "Portuguese Man of War", she should be fine. Take a look at this website:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/...
Notice at the bottom, the prognosis is 'rarely fatal'
Good luck!

did u take her to a doctor at all?? some jellyfish can be very deadly, it depends on witch fish she was stung by.
Some people are allergic to jellyfish stings just like some people are allergic to bee stings. If she's complaining of chest pain I would stay on the safe side and take her to the ER.
It's unlikely that she's suffering an allergic reaction because it's been so long since the reaction and there's no swelling, but I'd rather waste a couple of hours in the ER than have her end up in bad shape.
YES, don't know why you waited. Get her there now. Its not something to play around with.
HOSPITAL NOW!!!! You can alleviate some of her wound pain by pouring white vinegar onto the area but breathing difficulty is an allergic reaction.
ER or urgent care NOW.
yes of course take her to the er. Why are you hesitating?? Do it immediately.
