Darvocet contains 100 mg propoxyphene napsylate and 650 mg acetaminophen (tylenol). There is NO aspirin in Darvocet. Anytime you see the suffix "cet" in the name of a drug, that Usually indicates that it containes some acetaminophen.
Darvocet (Big Pink Tabs.) 650 micro grams of Darvon and 100 mg.s of Aspirin . Back in the 1960s Darvon tabs had a lil black ball of Darvon (the opioid) in the center of the aspirin and junkies found that they could crack the tab open, take the Darvon out ,Cook it & Shoot it up. So the drug Co. ground up the Darvon and mixed it in (or set) with the aspirin ,Hence..."DarvoCET" Have you tried neck and temple massage to relieve your pain?
