Do Foot Orthotics really get rid of pain??!
Question: Hi all
I've been told by my physio i have Shin splint's, i was given stretches to do and was told to rest...ive done all that but still get pain!
He also said i have flat foot...so would going to a Podiatrist and maybe getting some Foot Orthotics made for me REALLY help take the pain away from my shin's and lower leg and stop the shin splint's!?

Yes your foot wear is very important and it will be noticed right away.You may have one leg longer than the other or you need to have a piece of something in side of your shoes under the heal of your foot.You can try before you see a doctor also.Build up your heal with something hard, like rubber about 1inch by 1and a half inches, 1/8 inch thick try that on both than try under one at a time if this works call and make appt. to see doctor.they have good stuff and not that expensive.
