Hospital patients?!
Question: i had a concussion on tuesday night/wednesday morning and im finally recovering from it now. they kept me in the hospital over night which i thought was kind of weird because i wasnt feeling alright at all. i wanna hear about some concussion stories and im curious on how badly your concussion was and how long the hospital kept you. also, how did you get your concussion? mine was from stress alone and my body gave out while i was in a dance class. how about the rest of you?

my 15 year old daughter had a concussion this last week too. she fell off a sled while sledding down the hil. we took her to the er and they did a cat scan of her neck and brain and didnt see anything abnormal but the dr said she could have a slight concussion. they sent her home and told us to just watch her for any signs she is getting worse--increased pain, vomiting, ect. he said that her brain needed time to reboot and she should be fine in a few days. she stayed home from school for a few days and is now back to normal. she just doesnt want to go sledding for a while.
I have never had a concussion.
But I do have an answer as to why you were in the hospital overnite.
A concussion is when your brain, suffers trauma.
You are normally kept overnite, to make sure you can wake up. Also to monitor you, for headaches, vomiting, memory loss and neuro function.
How well you can move your arms, and legs.
