I often get dizzy when I stand up after taking a bath. Is this something I shoul!

Question: Also, what are some of the possible causes?

Answers: Also, what are some of the possible causes?

no it's not something you should be worried about. it a result of either your water being too hot or you staying in the water too long. ever been in a hot tub at a hotel or something? they advise you not to stay in the hot tubs past 10 minutes and if you do the results of this is dizziness, neasua, vomiting, and other things. this has happened to me before and i just turn the shower to cold and cool my body down.

you might wanna see a doctor for that.

Vertigo or high blood pressure?

I get the same thing. Doc says it's because I get too dehydrated. Like as soon as I get out of the water I srivel up or something. I have to get nutrienets into my body right away or I'll pass out.

could have blood pressure checked, I know hot tubs and jaccuzies have warnings for peeps with hi blood pressure and dizziness is a common sign...yep, check with doc

your water might be too hot. its thins your blood. You stand up too fast and the blood starts rushing. try cooling your bath down a bit. Its probably not a huge thing.

I get a head rush when I get up quickly from sitting/ lying down. It is due to the fact that I have borderline low blood pressure and the blood takes a while to get back up to my head when in a reclining position for a long time. I would have my blood pressure checked if I were you.... If that isn't the problem, then maybe have a physical.

looks like your a boy so I dont think your pregers, but I'm female and that happen to me when I was a teen you might be a anemic, low on iron see dr. you might start fainting.

Probably because you're blood is flowing really quickly because of increased heart rate, and you are probably lying down or mostly horizontal. Then, you stand up and you're colder, slowing you're heart rate, and the brain tells the blood to go to the vital organs.

This is just from what I saw on guinea pig. Or what i remember.
