Defensive scars are injuries you receive while defending yourself against an attack involving a sharp weapon
Defensive wounds/scars are used to describe very specific wounds a person gets when they re defending themselves against an attack.
A classic example is diagonal cuts on the underside of someone's arm from trying to defend against a knife attack, or bruises on the forearms from defending against punches/kicks.
