Broken tailbone?!
Question: Okay... so three days ago i was snowboarding and i fell on a patch of ice and hit my tailbone really hard. It would hurt whenever i sat down or twisted, or if anything touched it... Then, the next day, i went on a rail and fell onto it again, and this time it SUPER hurt and now it still hurts. It's really painful and i have trouble getting in and out of a car and chairs. It also hurts to lay on. I'm debating whether i should go to the doctor or not. It's pretty late tonight and I have plans all this week, would this be a problem if I waited that long? It's not unbearable pain but I can sure as hell feel it all the time. It hurts also to bend down and a bit to walk.

I would suggest buying one of those donut pillows to sit on, use ice on it, take some ibuprofen, and give it some time to rest. There isn't much that a doctor can do for an injured tailbone (even if it is broken), you just have to give it time to heal which can take a while.
go to the doc. I hurt mine too and and i waited to go to the doc. and when i went they told me it had become fractured b/c i waited to long
see a doctor quickly. it very well could be fractured and it is possible that it could snap resulting in a spinal cord injury!
mine was fractured and i waited a week, but before the pain drove me to the doctor. i was on complete bed-rest for 6 weeks. i had young children and was a single parent so i could not be hospitalized, though i needed to have been.
