I need some help ASAP!!?!
Question: My sister just went to the hospital ten minutes ago. She was complaining about a pain in her stomach that hurt worse than labor pains. Earlier today she had on a skirt that was actually too tight. We laid down to sleep about 3 hours ago and I gave her three St. Josephs aspirin(It was all I could find in the house) I got up to use the bathroom and she said she had the chills and that she tossed and turn and is in excruciating pain.? What kind of prob. or complications could she be suffering from? We thought maybe an appendicitis.

Was it on her right side? If so, it could be appendicitis and if that case they may need to operate tonight. It can be very painful. Another possibility is kidney or bladder stones. They can also be very painful. She may also have the flu. It's good she has gone to the hospital. They will be able to diagnose it exactly as any of us here are just guessing..

I'm no doctor, but that would be my first guess also. I think appendicitis would be a sharp, localized pain in her lower right gut. Maybe left. That part always confused me on is it patient's right or doctor's? But it's sharp and lower gut.
With the chills and the pain you described, it sounds like her appendix ruptured.
People think appendix pain is only on the right (patients right) lower abdomen but in reality the pain is towards the middle of the gut at first.
When I was having my appendix out, I could feel it all the way up to my neck.
I don't think one should ever look on Yahoo answers for something as serious as this sounds. Doctors know best, check them first.
Your sister is where she should be, in the care of experts. I would guess something simple first until tests come back, like the common flu bug. Maybe something she ate. If it is appendicitis I wouldn't worry now days.
