Chest hurts when I inhale, though very rarely?!
Question: It happens rarely but sometimes my chest (left side) hurts when I inhale to the point that I just take very short breaths as I'm afraid something might happen if I take a longer one. I also feel a tiny bit of pain there consistently, though I hardly notice it. Could it be something important? I'm only 19 and have had this happening for at least two years now.

i went to the docter about that, i thought it was somthing wrong with my heart it feels like sharp stabbing pains? he said its just your chest muscles cramping i wouldnt lose any sleep over it i hope that helps! =)
Dont get stressed out over it. See your Doc. Probably will turn out to be nothing. If you smoke, quit
Go see your doctor. It sounds like Pluresy to me. I have had it for years, it was worse when I was in my teens. Usually the doctor will prescribe a muscle relaxer for it since it is the lining of the lungs that are rubbing together. It can hurt like hell.
