How much does depression affect your sex drive? i have a very stressful job, I smoke and drink as well other than that Im in decent shape and eat well. Im only 24 What can I do?

It can affect your sex drive tremendously. Also, being stressed out (you mentioned your job, but also other things: money, social, family, etc) can have a huge affect on that. If you have other things on your mind then you will not be in the mood to have sex. Also, depression effects it because you are sad and upset and is usually on your mind, therefore, decreasing your sexdrive. Are you on any medication for depression? Many times antidepressants have the side effect of decreasing your sex drive. However, there ARE antidepressants that do not have these side effects (Wellbutrin is one that I know of - it will also help you quit smoking (if you wanted to))
