Do u think i have ADD?
ADD or ADHD...whichever is the one that is like listening is a problem...
im 14 and im an average B/B+ student. i get A's sometimes...im in regular math though [out of advanced and honors] however i have an A+ in the class. In Social i get either B's, B+'s or a's. Spanish B's, Science B's, and English B+'s or As.
I no this might not be bad grades, but i have trouble listening sometimes. When something is not interesting i just don't pay attention and zone off.
And when i get home from school i dont do my work. When i had to study for finals, i didnt actually study...i would look at my notes here and there but i just couldnt get the urge to actually study...so when i get my report card 2morrow im SO scared bc i no i failed my science and social final.
do u think i have ADD? my parents ghave wanted to get my tested but i kept saying no i dont have it so they ignored it and now they dont mention it...but i kind of want a test now but its kind of embarassing to mention getting one

I dont think you have ADD or ADHD. I think you just need to learn how to study. Paying attention in class is vital, whether you enjoy what you are learning or not. Think about how it will affect your future by keeping the attitude towards your education the way you are now, and how much better you will be off if you actually pay attention in class rather than to day dream most of the time and not do well on your homework, tests, etc.. Its all a matter of how important things are to you.
