What can I eat instead of bananas?!


Question:

What can I eat instead of bananas?

For some reason the smell and taste of bananas make me REALLY nauseous, so I stay away from them. My only fair now is that I'm not getting enough potassium in my diet. How much should I be getting daily? and What can I eat instead to get the amount I need?


Answers:

My doc told me to eat strawberries and peaches or apricots. They have a lot of potassium as well. He also said seafood would bring up my potassium levels.

If you think you may not be getting enough, talk to your doc about putting you on potassium pills or you can take the 'one a day' kind of vitamins that give you a daily amount a normal person needs.
