Can I get medicaid now that I have turned 18 just today?

I need health insurance. And I want one of my own. Can I get medicaid now that I am 18?

If so, how?

I live in Florida

The best way is to contact your health department or social security office and to tell them that you want to enroll in medicaid and they should try to help you. My mom enrolled me before I was born.
