Question:
Avian and withdraw symptoms.?
I have been taking ativan for at least two years off and on, more on then off. I finally told myself this is enough and stopped taking them about a month ago. I have had a terrible raceing, palpitating heart since then. Could stopping them be the cause? if so, how long will this effect last?

You could be suffering withdrawal, but remember next time- don't ever start or stop a prescribed medication before discussing it with your doctor.
