Why does my stomache hurt when I stand up? Then stop hurting when I lay or sit down?

Is that gas? Or because maybee I ate to quick. It started before I ate, because I didnt eat much at all. Then when I did eat it got worse, but STOPS when I sit or lay down.

I also started taking A new pain medication. Tylenol 3. I dont know if this is something serious.

I never had gas before, like I never had has THAT HURT before. So I dont know if that is what it is

sounds like you have an ulcer or something along those lines. There are some further problems with the codeine in the new medications. It can cause further irritation. It could be something very serious and if your doctor isn't taking it seriously then you should ask to be referred to a GI specialist, or an internal med doc, if that's not what you are seeing now.
Please take this seriously.
If it's gas then the last thing you want to be on is something that contains codeine, it slows the gastic tract down, and cause the gas to become more serious.
