Question: Why do I have a minor depression on the left hand side of my rib cage?
At the front of my rib cage the left hand side specifically, I have a minor depression of the ribs. The right side is fine. I occasionally get minor chest pain in that area is this something I should be worried about. It is in and around the area of my stomach/heart.

The chest pain could be connected to the depression. There is a condition called pectus excavatum. You might have the condition in a mild form.
