What diagnosis does it take to be prescribed medical marijuana?!

Question: What diagnosis does it take to be prescribed medical marijuana?
.

I just past the first medical marijuana facility that I've ever seen in Lansing, MI..

The place was nothing more than what appeared to be a small trailer in the middle of a small, rather un-kept, parking lot on a rather major artery to downtown Lansing.

If this is the result of the medical marijuana issue, I'm unimpressed.

Why don't they keep medical marijuana in the drugstores?

Why is med mj not in drug stores?

Because that means pharmacuetical companies are going to loose a LOT of money on more expensive synthesized/patented meds, not to mention the fact that marijuana isnt chemically addictive, while virtually every narcotic it is an alternative for is.

Its a money game.

Marijuana is legal by selling it quasi over the counter. You have to have a doc recommendation, but just like NyQuil, no one is standing over you telling you how much you can have.

Also, to fully legalize it, the ama, fda, and dea all have to admit they have been lying since the 1930s, something they arent too keen on doing.

Trust me, if all I wanted to do was go get high, all I have to do is go to walmart and buy a select handful of Nyquil, coriciden, and weight loss supplements, maybe an energy drink or two.

If you want med mj in the drug store, convince pharmacuetical companies to go without some of their personal profits. Check who is lobbying against it - they are the largest group. Also convince them to sell the natural plant, not something that is synthesized, patented, and comes with a price tag 100 times higher than it should be.

......

To qual for med mj, you have to have a debilitating disease or any other ailment or problem marijuana can help with.

It can be given in virtually any situation HARDER MORE NARCOTIC drugs like vicodin, oxy, ativan, xanax, phenegran, compazine, etc can be used for. Since marijuana is less narcotic than all of them, I would think people would be happy to have less people on hardcore drugs.

Oxy is so hardcore its nicknamed hillbilly heroine. Yet thats given to every tom dick and harry that mentions back pain.
Morphine is almost identical to heroine, thats given out a LOT more than med mj cards are.
They give kids speed (adderal, ritalin, etc).

Again, even though a lot of people can get med mj, its safer than giving them the harder drugs they would get without med mj.

Generally diagnoses such as glaucoma or chronic pain from verifiable diseases or injuries are required. As for the location, I don't know what the law is in Michigan but there may be limitations as to where this can be dispensed.
