I like to know the medical reasoning behind this as well. I feel the exact same way before I go to sleep and deeply crave something without being able to think of anything else. I know it's bad to eat before you go to bed and makes you gain weight, but I can't help it. Try to eat a little earlier in the day, drink more water (9-10 glasses), and have maybe less carb dense food (like grains and stuff throughout the day) It all has to do with the amount of sugar that your body takes in and condenses. Smaller meals might help as well, with more healthy snacks like almonds, apples, and other nuts/fruits that will prevent or help with a low blood sugar, instead of sugary processed crap. It all stems from what you eat. Could be all wrong but if headaches continue I would talk to your doctor. Goodluck! :)
