are my ears infected?!


Question: Are my ears infected?
last night i pierced my second holes by myself. i didn't sterilize my earring or ears before, but i did burn the needle that i used. i iced my ear before, and this morning i used rubbing alcohol to clean them. now they kind of hurt and they're slightly purple. will they get infected? what should i do to keep them healthy?

ps. i'm not really looking for a lecture on how at-home-piercing is bad.

There's a very good chance they're infected. And about your PS, umm, never mind. Silly, silly, girl. I hope you look a lot cooler now! Maybe your friends will like you more because your ears are pierced again! Maybe you'll like yourself more! Either way, your friends are shallow and you have low self esteem. I hope that's not considered a lecture.

I've been around silly, depressed, self hating girls most of my life.

They're probably already infected... They are purple, you didn't sterilize the earrings or ears, burning a needle isnt enough sterilization, and rubbing alcohol is terrible to put on piercings, especially new and healing ones.
