It would be in your health's best interest not to, because your liver is still recovering or will not be recovering as well as it once used to be.

If you REALLY want to drink alcohol, I would advice you have small amounts at a time, wait for a bit (generally an hour per standard but I doubt you can wait that long but still try to), reduce the stress level of your liver before you drink more to build up more pending processing alcohol, and since you've had liver failure, this means the alcohol may even directly enter your body without being processed by your liver, which heightens the chances of alcohol poisoning, causing you more problems than liver failure.

To put it simple, try and drink less and no huge amounts at a too short period of time then you should be fine, keep in mind that your ability to process alcohol has been handi-capped.

Value your life mate, drinking is fun but it is quite deadly, having a liver failure is a sign of your body telling you it's exceeded its limits.

Wish you the best

Hi Katelyn!
My dad had liver failure and it was enforced by ALL doctors to not go anywhere NEAR alcohol. As Alcohol is extremely tough on the liver and consifering you have had liver failure in the past- your new liver is still very fragile and you need to take care of it so it doesnt end up happening again. No alcohol. Your health first!

if your smart you wont drinking attacks the liver. i know i had hep c .i took health classes about the liver and alcohol.
please don't drink take care care of your self .you are worth more then being a party animal
