Horizontal lines on fingers and thumbs that aren't my fingerprints?!
Question: Horizontal lines on fingers and thumbs that aren't my fingerprints?
I'm not really into palm-reading-mojo, BUT, if you're a palm-reader that has a logical (not mythological) explanation, that'd be great.

Hello Maygan,
Most people have a few of those horizontal lines on their fingertips, so these can be described as: 'normal'.
Science has never really considered those lines. And in the fields of hand reading those lines are associated with 'blocking-powers': e.g. on the thumb the association is 'blocked-willpower'.
But again, these lines are relatively common and the theories are rather vague - so you better not get worried about those lines at all.
If you're interested, you might want to post your question also at the 'Modern Hand Reading Forum': see the source below; then you might get some additional answers from some hand reading 'professionals'.
Greetings from The Netherlands,
Martijn.

i don't know what they are, but i get the exact same thing! i also sometimes get little spots on my fingertips that peel. i have found several online forums discussing this, and while no one knows what it is exactly, a LOT of people have it - so rest assured that you are not the only one.
