Dissociative state of DXM similar to autism?!

Question: Dissociative state of DXM similar to autism?

I have taken DXM before, although not nearly as much as some people claim to have taken. After reading some experiences of others, I saw alot of people talking about dissociation. Reading a very in depth description of what this dissociation felt like, something occurred to me. It is the same feeling that can occur with autism. Detached somewhat from your body, among other things. I know this because I have the high functioning form of autism. I guess I just found it amusing to see a normal person getting so freaked out about soemthing I experience quite often. heh. anyhow. do most people feel this way on DXM? are there any other autistics out there that know what im talking about?

dissociation is very common at higher doses of dxm; along with audio/visual hallucination. My friend described it as controlling his body from a video game controller. Another person said he became the structure of the house he was in which also suggests empathetic qualities. Personally, I threw up long before I could ever consume enough to feel this effect. I am content with changing textures and the feeling of being a reptile. Its been about 5 years though since my last experience and I cannot relate to autism.

I don't think so... the times I've done that (really dumb of me) I felt completely out of my body and not in touch with anything real. I'm pretty sure autism is nothing like that.
