Why am I always so tired and out of breath?!

Question: Why am I always so tired and out of breath!?
I get a decent amount of uninterrupted sleep at night!. That said at 3pm every night I am ready to crash and I am always killing myself to stay up past like 9pm!. Also when I walk up the stairs my chest pounds so much that it takes almost 20 minutes for me not to feel like I am going to pass out!. I am wondering if they are connected!. I am not diabetic and I am having my thyroid checked soon and I am slightly over weight!. Is there something obvious that I am missing!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Different possibilities:
1!. Get more exercise, that way your body will build up stores in your hemoglobin to take in more oxygen!.

2!. You may be anemic, get your blood drawn and have it checked!.

3!. May have dysrhythmia in your heart, if one and two are tried and ruled out, I suggest seeing a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try exercising more!. You don't even have to do hard stuff but some cardiovascular work like running (or walking) or cycling!. As your heart gets stronger you should start breathing better!. And about the tired thing you should see your doctor!. Try avoiding sugary foods because eating sugary foods with lunch could cause you to crash around 3!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No way to tell, but you need to see a doctor about this, no the internet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmmm!.!.!.!.maybe you should check it out and tell your doctor about it!.!.!.it could be serious!.!.!.but otherwise!.!.!.are you on a diet!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

3pm is the middle of the afternoon, not nighttime, so I'm wondering if you mean a different time or a mid-afternoon crash!.

If you're only slightly overweight and you have trouble getting up a flight of stairs, you could have a blocked artery or heart problems even if you're young!. I would not suggest major exercise until you have that checked out, because it could be serious!.

If you get enough sleep but are tired during the day, you could have sleep apnea, where you have trouble breathing while you're sleeping!. If you snore, that's a sign of sleep apnea!. If your thyroid and heart turn out to be okay, you might want to check that!.

Another thing that can make you tired in the afternoon is your eating pattern!. Have a filling breakfast of nutritious foods, including some fats such as those in eggs, cheese or milk!. This sets you for the day!.

At lunch, limit the fats and starches to keep yourself alert!. Also limit the snacks during the day!. It may take several days for the effect to kick in!.

The best way to build up your endurance for the stairs is to start walking!. You can go at your own pace and pause or rest whenever you need to!. Even 15 minutes a day will work wonders!. If that's too much, start with five, and within a week, you should be able to manage 15 at a comfortable pace!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
