Question: Is there any ways i can feel alittle bit better!?
Well, I am sick!. I have a cough and stuffy nose!. which i hate!. but i am going out tom!. night is there ways i can feel better i am taking meds but i was just wondering if there was anything eles i can do

Answers:
Zinc and vitamin C!. Watch those cold meds!.!.!.half aren't even approved and most do nothing!.

Chicken soup will go a much longer way and the salt will disinfect and the the warmth will open your sinuses!.

Make a saline bath for your nose!.!.!.a quarter spoonful in a cup of warm water!.!.!.mix well cup in your hands and suck up into your nostrils as far as you can without gagging!. Do that over a sink!.!.!.let the water sit there for a few seconds and disinfect then blow your nose!. Repeat several times a day!.

If you are old enough take a sinutab or sudafed which before bed which should help a lot!. If it does repeat tomorrow but dont use for too long as it can make it worse, just a night or two!.

Honey has natural disinfecting antibiotic like properties so do drink that with hot water or tea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I realize that someone has probably already said this one but--sleep is vital when you're sick!.
Because when you are sick, your cells are working ten times as hard to get you better!. And if you're up doing all kinds of stuff then they have to work twenty times harder!.
And so, when you're asleep and really not doing anything, its much easier for them to work and they help you get better a lot faster!.
I know its not the best way to explain it, but I saw something about it on discovery channel a few weeks and have forgotten all the big words they used!. :PWww@Answer-Health@Com

i find it best to try and sleep away the cold!. your body can work harder to fight away sickness when it is resting!. drink lots of water because it will wash out the germs!. make sure you don't hold in sneezes because the bacteria in your nose needs to get out!. same with coughing and blowing your nose!. get that stuff out! healthy food like fruits and vegetable will nourish your body and help fight sickness!. vitamin c is great for you and tastes great if you get it in those yummy halls vitamin c drops!. take a long hot bath or shower and that will help loosen up mucus in your body!. get some fresh air, and that will energize you!. i hope you feel better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It helps me to whine a little but not to much also while you are out if someone you really don't like should get up and go to the dance floor you could sneeze on the area where their hands go!. It always makes me feel better!. well anyway it takes a few days to get over regardless might as well have some fun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get lots of rest!. Nighttime medicine can help to knock you out with antihistamines!.
Drink orange juice/take vitamins!. More Vitamin C can help you feel better!.
Eat/drink hot stuff, like soup or hot tea!. It helps you get better for some reason, but I forget why!.
Stay hydrated and hygienic!. It will make you feel better overall, and help you feel like the cold has gone away a little more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

But like if you have a good attitude and i know its hard but try not to think about it to where as if you sit in your house blowing your nose all day it;ll be worse!.
But if you have a night out on the town it wont seem as bad!.

Also, taking a shower will make you feel better quickly!.
As long as you're taking medicine and resting you should be fine, but if you don't feel well tomorrow night, don't go out!.

drink some tea with honey!. get in bed get an ice pack to lay on your forehead and put some candles in your room!. listen to soft music and close your eyes!. be totally relaxed and breathe slowly!. think of happy thoughts!

don't worry im not going to be rude!.!.!.!.get back home and sleep! well, what you can do is vicks rube!.!.!.or boil hot water and pour some vicks in the water!.!.!.cover your head with a towel and breat the vicks so it will make you feel better!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to sleep!!!! Drink alot of water, and if you haven't taken any meds within however long of hours it takes, take nyquil so you will fall asleep faster!. And dont forget to bundle up so your nice and toasty!Www@Answer-Health@Com

rest all day, have a great night sleep!. drink lots of fluids!. if your hot, have a cold compress over your fore head and eyes!. get up and walk around the house every 2hours so you wont get light headed!.

Take a lot of vitamin c, day quill, and drink tea- also, try to get a **** ton of sleep, like 12+ hours!. It tends to help me out when I'm sick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok this is going to sound super gross but it totally works! Make some tea, and put a little honey and lemon in it!. It works for your cough! no joke im serious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a hot bath and alka seltzer cold tabs!.!.!.you know plop, plop, fizz, fizz, always works for me, along with lots of rest and liquids!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
