Can women's deordorant brands like Dove Clinical Protection be bad for you?!

Question: Can women's deordorant brands like Dove Clinical Protection be bad for you!?
I figured that it can't be good if it stops you from doing something your body naturally needs to do to cool itself down!. Any facts you can give me would be appreciated!.

Ever since I started using the stuff, I got athletes foot!. I didn't know if the athletes foot is related to the deordorant or the fact that I wore flats in the summer heat for 3 months, and I know of another girl who went through the same exact situation, using the same deo!. and also wore flats all summer long!.

ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

i agree - there are many chemicals in deodrant and not sweating can't be good for us!. the athletes foot sounds like a coincidence!. I use a deodrant that is aluminum free is by Dessert Esselnce, there are differents scents!. I use both the Tea Tree Oil and the Camomille/Calendula!. They allow your body to sweat but something in the deodrant kills the bacteria that causes oder, so no body odor!. sometimes i have to apply it twice a day if i'm having a long, active day, but this hasn't been a problem for me as I carry one in my purse!. You can get this brand or others at most any health food store!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Did you use the deodorant on your feet!? I never heard of such use before!.

Do you have athletes foot on the feet or do you have the f ungal infection on your underarms!?

I am confused!. If you have it on your feet and that's where you applied the deodorant - well, I do not know what it would do!. Fungal infections generally come from walking on infected floors!.!.!.

If you applied your deodorant under arms and your infection is on your feet - to be frank, I think implying the connection is downright ridiculous!.

If you applied it under arms, and that's where you got infection - are you sure it's really fungus or can it be skin reaction!? Discontinue the deodorant or switch brands!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd say that's a coincidence, that would have NOTHING to do with your athlete's foot!. Your athletes foot is directly related to letting your feet get too sweaty and not allowing them to dry off!. You should always be sure your shoes have time to dry when you've been wearing them, especially without socks!.

It's not bad for you!. The only thing that could be bad would be an allergic reaction to the zinc or aluminum that's in it, but that would just make your pits itch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no i don't think it is relatedWww@Answer-Health@Com
