As with everything else it was and still is a case of keeping up with the Jones's!.!.!.!.!. at the time (Sir Francis Drake I believe) brought chewing tobacco over from the West Indies!.!.!.!.!. only the affluent rich could afford such luxuries!.!.!.!. the poor people always want to immitate the rich, mimickery is a form of adulation and respect!.!.!.!. so when it became affordable they too began smoking - first off it was old ladies - the men had pipes, then the smoking population got younger, the reputation of cigarettes as a relaxant helped to spread it's popularity, along with the image of being cool and respectable!.!.!.!.!. and the rest of the history you probably already know!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i wondered that when my 17 year old friend informed me that she started smoking!. i wonder why anyone would ever have the desire to basically become a chimney!. i wonder why she would ever smoke again after vomiting the first time she smoked!. i wonder why she is such an idiot, and why i am friends with her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
people used to roll their shoes in rolling paper and smoke them as well!. until tobacco was discovered!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
