It is SOOO hard to get out of this slump!. I know!. I've spent days not getting out of bed for anything but food and washroom simply because I was too depressed and unmotivated (thinking "what's the point")!.
Recently I started to force myself to get up and have some fruit (smoothie because I didn't feel like chewing lol) and then go for a walk (like to the store for some gum or something!.!. an attempt to give the walk a purpose)!.
At first it totally sucked!. Even on the walk it felt so pointless, tedious and was a total chore!.
After a while, I noticed that adding this ritual with the change in my diet (even the 'game' of 'I wonder what this combination of fruit will taste like'!.!. which is funny as I never liked fruit much before) and exercise actually gave me more energy and now I am more motivated and now I've expanded my walking habits to exploring areas that I have never been before!.!.!.taking a camera to take pictures, listening to music that I am unfamiliar with to get me thinking about my surroundings and how beautiful everything is, rather than staying inside my head!. I have even started timing my walks to see if I can "beat" yesterday!.!.!.
Still hard taking that first step out of bed, but I've only been doing this for two weeks now and once I do I feel much better and knowing that makes for good motivation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would have thought if a Drop Bear came into the room, that would be motivation enough to get up and exercise!Www@Answer-Health@Com
