Question: Having My Tonsils And Adenoids Out In About 2 weeks!.!.!.!.!. What do i take with me!?
Ok so i have an immune disease, Having a T&A will hopefully get rid of it!. Iv only been in hospital twice and i was only in for 2 days!. My mum is a single parent so she cant take time of work to look after me so im staying in hospital for about 5 days!. What should i take with me!? im going to take my laptop and some DVD!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a BIG cup for ice
pillows and sheets from home, maybe even your comforter
cell phone charger [so you can text, you wont be able to talk really]
headphones for your laptop
ipod if you have one
lots of warm socks
ponytail holders
shampoo and conditioner
body wash
deodorant
toothbrush/paste[you will need to keep your mouth super clean]
undies

i got my adenoids and tonsils tooken out to i was 15 about 180 pounds!. im not trying to scare you but when i got them removed they were fully grown and matters of your age and if your tonsils are fully grown but it gurts CRAPPPPPPP LOADDDDDDDDD make sure you have A LOT of liquids at your house and a lot of icecream even liquors are hard to swollow and your not going to be breathing out of your nose for like 3 weeks well not very well atleastWww@Answer-Health@Com

You already received a lot of great tips on what to take with you!. I highly recommend taking your own pillow with a distinctive pillow case on it so they don't mistake it for hospital-issued!.

Cozy socks are my next favorite item!. Bring your own pajamas - you don't have to wear theirs, hate those open backs, what a draft!

A crossword or coloring book!.!.!.Yes Im 36 and still like to color haha!. Maybe some magazines!?

Just a tip!.!.they tell you that you can have all the ice crem you want when you have them taken out!.!.They lie!.!.It hurts your throat lol!.

Comfy pajamas, and good socks /slippers!.!.!.!. those darn gowns they give you are not warm and the blankets suck!. I'd bring like, sweat pants and a nice sweatshirt :) Www@Answer-Health@Com
