me and my boyfriend got in an argument because i thought i heard somewhere that something in it's saliva that makes it itch but he disagrees!.!.!. what is it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
It is something in their saliva!. The saliva (containing enzymes) injected when a mosquito bites causes our bodies to produce a histamine response!. We have a slight allergy response, and thus our skin around the bite area gets itchy!.
(Histamine is a protein involved in many allergic reactions)!.
Some people develop more serious allergic reactions, but this is less common!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
