Question: Help with polyphasic sleeping!.
so i just started my conversion to polyphasic sleeping, hopefully you all might know about it!. im having trouble falling asleep in the first place, ive always had this problem!. since im only sleeping in 25 minute periods i must fall asleep fast, but that is my problem!. it takes me much longer to fall asleep, and im just lying trying to sleep for a full 25 minutes until i get up!. will my body adapt in the future and will i be able to fall asleep faster as i get more used to this schedule!? is there something i can do to make myself sleep faster!?
the whole point of this method is to sleep for only 2-3 hours a day, but now im getting none because i just wont fall asleep, and i am so so tired!.!.!.

Hello,
Your body will eventually get used to it!. During the adaptation phase, try to take your naps at the exact same time each day, so your body will be expecting the nap!.
Also, try using headphones and play some white noise for 25 minutes with an alarm sound at the end of it!. When your body hears the same noise over and over again during sleep, it'll get conditioned to know that it's nap time!.
When you're done adapting, you'll find yourself waking up before the alarm and your 25 minutes of nap will feel like hours of sleep!.
