Answers:
First of all, why don't you do some on-line research about ADD (attention deficit disorder) and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder)!. These terms have been thrown around pretty loosely for the past 10 or 15 years, so make sure that your symptoms fit this disease before diagnosing yourself!. I wouldn't necessarily believe a teacher who told you you had ADD because some kids are just antsy!. Some kids need to move while learning and many teachers don't accept this!. That is just a side note!.

One of the big issues with this disease is that if it's not diagnosed before the age of 18 many doctors are hesitant to prescribe medication for it!. Ritalin is usually given to kids who have trouble with attention span and concentration!. However, if you do not have ADD the medication has the opposite affect !.!.!. it gives you energy and pumps you up!. If you've ever visited a college dormitory you'll know that many students use it illegally to keep themselves alert while studying!. So, you'll need to have an in-depth conversation with your doctor and he or she may want to test you for some other disorders!. Your doctor may also refer you to a psychiatrist who specializes in these types of issues !.!.!. you won't know until you ask! I'm sure that your doctor hears a hundred embarrassing secrets a day, so don't stress about telling them how you feel !.!.!. these are the people who deal with blood and throw-up and mucus and stuff, so don't worry about your doctor's reaction and just take care of yourself!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your doctor can do some tests to see if you have ADD!. If you do, he will prescribe you something like adderall, which can be addictive so I would be careful!. It's not that big of a deal to ask, sometimes he will diagnose you the same day and sometimes you have to get blood work done so that might take a week or so but if it's affecting your relationship and work I would definitely talk to him/her about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You pay your doctor to help you!. If you get a cup of coffee and it was not what you ordered wouldn't you speak up!? Well your doctor is serving you also, and the only way they can serve you properly is if you are honest with them!.

My nephew had ADD!. He was medicated but I do no know with what!. When he was a teenager he stopped using the medication!. He is 27 years old now!. His mother recently gave him all the stuff she saved from his childhood!. His report cards went from straight As to Cs and Ds when he stopped taking the medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd say just straight up confront your doctor about it!.
There is no need to by ashamed on any account of it!.
If it makes you feel any better my best friend has ADD and she's such a goofball and spaces out a lot, but it's cool!. She is a very smart person!. She takes some prescribed medicine for ir, so I suggest that you may want to go in and get it checked out!. ADD, seems to be very common, so I wouldn't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's nothing to be embarrassed about!. Just tell your doctor exactly what makes you think you have ADD!. Lots of people have adult add!. Your doc will give you some questions to answer about why you think you have it!. The doc can prescribe meds for it!. If you don't believe in meds then you could research a special diet (I saw a book about this in a health store) meant to improve your symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you just need to calm down because all of the medication they can prescribe you will fvck you up!. I was prescribed that stuff and I got really addicted to it, its all pretty much pharmacuetical meth!. So yeah I think you should find an alternative solution to your problem like maybe meditating every morning or something like that i dunnoWww@Answer-Health@Com

just go to your doctor and explain to him that it's affecting your life
even if you're not good at opening up add isn't something to be worried about at all, as a matter of fact it's unbelievably common and can be treated with meds if neededWww@Answer-Health@Com

There are many people with ADD, or at least say that they have ADD and the easiest thing to do as of now is to talk to your doctor and see what he has to say, explain yourself to him and he can answer all of your questions!.
*NOTE* There is nothing wrong with having ADD!.!.!.!. NOTHING! Www@Answer-Health@Com

first off, a teacher is not a qualified to diagnose you like that!. i professional is suppose to!. i would go talk to a psychiatrist and get tested for it!. adderall is prop the most common drug they will put you on!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't have it but Your teacher doesn't diagnose you for that that's why you go to the doctors tell them you think you may have it they'll test you you need a proper dianoses!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just simply tell him that you think you may have it and he'll know what to do!. It's nothing to be embarassed about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just be confident with yourself!. Don't worry as to what the doctor will think!. He has probably heard the same question from other patients!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

ADD isn't that big of a deal!. I have it and I am fine!. I take no medicine or anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would simply and calmly tell him in your next check up!. for all you know you don't even have it!.
