Question: I need help with my scar!?
i have a huge scar running down my cheast!. it goes from my neck to my bellybutton!. i am going to sleep awaycamp soon and i know people r going to ask abought it!. also i dont want the conslers to treat me diffent because of it!. i am fine with the way i look i just dont want to be treated any diffentWww@Answer-Health@Com

You said it yourself that you are happy with the way you are!. I like that about you & I haven't even met you!. If anything, it's one of the many reasons you are uniquely different from someone else!. If you feel you are treated suspiciously differently, remind people that you want to be treated the same!. btw most of these "scar cures" you will see are crap (expensive crap)!. so don't fall for them!. visit a hospital!. last year i got second degree burns on my arm and face because a spray paint can blew up in a fire me and my friends had!. i forget what the name of the thing i recieved at the hospital but it worked like magic!. It was a pad, kind of like gauze, but it was liquidy and wet, it helped reduce my scarring drastically!. Now i dont really think that silver floating through my blood stream is all that healthy and i will probably develop some disease or something when i get older, but for the time being it works like magic!.

Do not be afraid to be honest with them!.!. I have scars too and get asked often about them!. Kids will be curious and just be honest with them!. If they tease you or are rude to you, then they weren't your friends in the first place!. As far as the counselors at the camp, they will not treat you any different than the others!.

Well honey, I fell and cut my hand and had to end up having surgery!. I have this huge scar on the palm of my hand!. My surgeon said that I could use Vitamin E pills!. What you could do is: get the Vitamin E pills and get a pin and poke a whole in one!. Squeeze it out onto your scar!. It makes it smoother and less noticeable!. I hope that I could help! It's only a scar, and if you got it when you were a baby it isn't like it is new and could hamper your ability to stretch, so I just wouldn't worry about it!. If they do ask you about it, tell them the truth, and tell them it's no big deal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there are plenty of creams that help scars fade, if that doesnt work, i like the idea of making up different stories about your scar!. it keeps things exciting, and people will think of your story more than your scar!. people will probably even forget about your scar!. just dont worry about it and have fun at camp!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
