You may see a black veil coming down, kind of like a shutter coming down over a window!. That's the classic description of how it feels to the person!. And the black part is where you can't see b/c your retina has detached!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have a large number of "floaters" and or light flashes!.

A floater is a black speck that appears in your vision!. It is caused by the degeneration of the "jelly" behind your eye!.
