Question: I know that height is related to genetics only but is there a way you can stunt your growth!?
If you don't eat properly or exercise properly during your teenage years (mostly 13-18), can you actually stunt your growth!?
I was lazy in HS, and I think I stunted my growth while my friends who were much more active are now taller and stronger than me!.
I'm 5'7" and my friends are about 5'9" and taller!.
It's odd because my dad is the tallest dad out of all our dads at 6 feet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lllness, poor nutrition, inactivity can stunt your growth!. But you would have to be really malnourished and inactive to have your growth stunted!. Are you sure you have stopped growing!?
As far as genes go, it's both your mom and dad's height and what their genetic makeup contains height wise!. You can
have short parents and be significanlty taller than them, or you may be close in height to them or you may be shorter than them!. There are many different methods used to predict height!. Do a search on "predicting height and you'll find several theories"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
