Question: How can I get "back to normal"!?
I just had a surgery on my foot and after three weeks I had my cast removed!. I'm trying to get up and do normal things but I'm feeling tired all the time now!. It's really unlike me!. I've been sleeping about 12 hours!. I used to sleep about 5-6 hours!. I have no energy at all and I know I'm not low on B-12!.
How do I get over this sleepiness and become more "alive"!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are taking narcotic pain killers, you are taking too much!. I use only enough to take off the edge of the pain, not kill the pain entirely!. If you take so much too long, you risk addiction as well as being always sleepy!. Ironically, when the sleepiness subsides, the addiction has begun!.
Otherwise, you describe depression!. You may have had that all along at a lower level until now!. It, or bipolar syndrome, can also cause sleep deprivation (your limit at 5-6 hours)!.

Surgery can take a lot out of you!.!.!.it often takes a few weeks to get back to normal!.!.!.everyday you should make an effort to do some sort of exercise!.!.sleeping is just the body recovering!.!.!.B-12 is good for the nervous system but maybe you should also be taking some vitamin's or just some iron!.!.!.but it does take a few weeks to get back to normal!.!.!.also try think in a positive way!.!.!.tell yourself you will be OK and you will get back to you old self!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Have you been taking a multivitamin!? I know it's probably hard to get back to exercising, but try to be more active!. Over time, you will start to feel like you have more energry!. Other than that, take it slow and try to start over from where you were before the injury!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat meat!. You probably lost a lot of protein while you were resting from that foot injury!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
