Question: I just choked on a cough drop!?
i just choked on a cough drop, i was talking to my bf and it slid down the wrong tuvbe in my throat and can feel it caught in my chest right in the middle under my boobs!. it hurts really bad!.!.!.any ideas how to get it out!? and doing a handstand didnt work!.!.!.!.lol!. dumb i know but it hurts really bad!. any way to get it out without the hospital!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Obviously it is not blocking your airway or causing you respiratory distress so the Heimlich maneuver would be ineffective and inappropriate for the situation!. Drink some warm water to help dissolve it so it becomes smaller!. Also eating plain soft bread may help it go down!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Drink plenty of water and try to wait for it disinigrate!. If that doesnt work, get a friend to do the heimlic under your breast!. (Remember: Thumb side to your stomach & push) Still not working!? Go to the Hospital to get A Chest X-Ray!. If you dont, this could result into Lung problems because when you swallowed the cough drop, it could have gone through the Bronchus which is the tube to your lung, or the esophugus which is the tube to your stomach!. go to the hospital!. you will need a chest x-ray, it can sit in your lungs and can cause problems!.
